Michele Siekerka knows more about the business climate you need and she is daily fighting hard to change that climate into a profitable reality.  As CEO/President of the New Jersey Business and Industry Association, Michele has pushed open the doors of government and with charm and logical diplomacy, given the business community a stronger voice at the decision-makers’ table.  Beyond sheer advocacy, Michele offers lawmakers an encyclopedic resource of businesses’ progress, revenue potential and overall outlook, which legislators have come to depend on.

With more than 20 years of varied experience in legislative policy making and organizational leadership, Michele has built a justified reputation as a high-achiever who has a full, thoughtful overview of each issue.  Prior to heading the NJBIA, Michele served as New Jersey’s EPA as Deputy Commissioner and previously as assistant commissioner of Economic Growth, of Green Energy, and of Water Resources.  She also led the Mercer Regional Chamber of Commerce.
