Jamie Millar

Jamie Millar just seems to have a way with business leaders. A caroming career among businesses’ elite led him to found SkyBridge Associates five years ago – in hopes of providing one vital aspect lacking in most executives’ work lives: a peer connection. When a high-level executive joins a peer group created by Jaime and his SkyBridge team, he discovers camaraderie, value, and the opportunity to learn from his fellows how to face challenges more effectively. And perhaps most exceptional, the members of Jaime’s group learn how to build a better career journey for themselves.

Born, bred in Ottawa, Jaime was educated as an engineer, who, after some intriguing career shifts, found himself recruited for a Manhattan post as an investment banker with Morgan Stanley. He first gained insights into the benefits of peer associations when he entered Harvard’s MBA program. Spying his talent, Harvard brought Jaime aboard as Director of Admissions for the university’s MBA school. This experience plus several years as a partner with Tapestry Network led him to develop his system for bringing talented business leaders together. To gain a fll understanding of the Millar method, check out Jaimie’s concise and cogently written Building Bridges – The Case for Executive Peer Networks.
