Howard Cohen

Howard Cohen is one of the financial stars that Wells Fargo, the world’s most capitalized bank, has recently added to its crown.  Beyond sheer prestige, they sought out Howard as Executive Advisor for his sage counsel, commercial banking acumen and the far flung network of financial luminaries which he smilingly calls “my Rolodex.”

Howard’s four-decade experience in public and corporate accounting began at Price Waterhouse.  He rapidly rose, becoming managing partner of Grant Thornton, then Amper Politziner & Mattia.  In 2010 he oversaw the merger of Eisner Amper, which was then the largest accounting firm merger in the nation.  He served as that company’s chair for the next six years, growing and guiding it into an international powerhouse.  He currently serves as Treasurer for the New Jersey State Chamber of Commerce.

When forging the merger of EisnerAmper, Howard soothed jittery staffs of both firms by assuring that no one was to be terminated, in fact, they would be seeking fresh talent from top accounting rivals.  Mr. Cohen is a man who believes in the profitability of people.
